And Beyond Digital uses artificial intelligence to talk with website visitors and callers. This page explains, in plain terms, where you're interacting with AI instead of a person, what that AI can and can't do, and how to reach a real person if you'd rather.

Akira, our website concierge

The chat assistant available on our website is Akira, an AI system — not a human. Akira can explain our services, answer common questions, and collect the same kind of contact and lead details as our contact form (your name, email, phone number, selected service, and message) so our team can follow up. Some of Akira's replies play back as pre-recorded narrated audio rather than a live voice call. Akira is useful for a first conversation, but she is not a substitute for professional advice about your specific situation — for that, talk to our team directly.

Our AI phone line

The phone number Akira offers, (914) 765-9342, connects to a live AI voice assistant, not a person — when you call, you'll be speaking with an AI voice assistant, not a live person. It's a working demo of our AI Receptionist service: it answers, listens, and responds automatically. Calls to this line may be recorded for quality and improvement purposes.

This is a different feature from the voice-dictation option on our contact form, which uses your browser's own speech-recognition service and never sends audio to us — see our Privacy Policy for details on that.

No independent judgment

Akira and our AI Receptionist generate responses from the information and instructions they've been given. They are not conscious, do not exercise independent judgment, and can make mistakes or misunderstand what you say. If a response seems off, please reach out to us directly.

Reaching a person

You can always reach our team directly through our Contact page. If you leave your details with Akira instead, a real person will follow up from there — either way works.
