Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 3, 2026
And Beyond Digital wants everyone who visits andbeyonddigital.com to be able to use it, regardless of ability or the assistive technology they rely on. This statement describes what we've already built, how to adjust the site to your needs, and where our work continues.
Our commitment
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility isn't a one-time fix — it's something we test, document, and keep improving as the site evolves.
What's already in place
The following are already built into the site:
- Color contrast — text and background colors are designed to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 or better) throughout the site.
- Skip-to-content link — the first stop on every page lets keyboard users jump straight past the navigation to the main content.
- Labeled form fields — every field you can fill out has a clear, associated label.
- Semantic structure — a single, clear page heading followed by a logical order of subheadings, plus descriptive alt text on meaningful images.
- Keyboard accessibility — the site can be navigated and operated with a keyboard alone, including controls to pause moving content such as animated sections.
- Visible focus states — keyboard users can always see which element is currently focused.
- Reduced-motion support — the site respects your device's "reduce motion" setting and limits animation accordingly.
Your accessibility preferences panel
Every page includes a floating accessibility button in a bottom corner of the screen. Selecting it opens a preferences panel with the following controls:
- Text size — choose from three sizes.
- Larger spacing — adds extra space between lines and letters.
- Highlight links — makes links more visually distinct from surrounding text.
- Reduce motion — limits animation and pauses moving content like background video.
- Darken background — switches the site's background to a deeper, higher-contrast palette.
Your choices are saved in your browser and applied automatically the next time you visit.
Known limitations & ongoing work
We are continuing to test this site for accessibility. A full automated accessibility scan and a manual screen-reader review are in progress and have not yet been completed, so some parts of the site may not fully meet our WCAG 2.2 AA target yet. We are actively working to find and fix any gaps.
Feedback
If you have trouble accessing any part of this site, or have suggestions for how we can improve it, please email jason@andbeyonddigital.com. We welcome your feedback and will do our best to address accessibility issues promptly.
